Introducing CentreBC:
A new path forward for British Columbia.
A balanced approach to government.
CentreBC is British Columbia’s newest party. We are offering a voice for voters wanting to see world class public services backed by a strong, private sector economy.
We believe in a balanced approach to government where elected officials work together to find common ground and make progress on the issues that truly matter to British Columbians.
If you share our vision and believe that it’s time for a new path forward, join us to make British Columbia a safer, more affordable, and prosperous place to call home.

“British Columbians shouldn’t be forced to choose between the NDP and the BC Conservatives. They deserve a pragmatic, moderate option.
We’re building CentreBC to offer a new direction for British Columbia, one that is fiscally responsible, socially progressive, and focused on the issues facing our province today. If you share our vision, join us.”

Our Vision for BC
Building a vibrant B.C. economy
CentreBC believes that British Columbia must be a place that welcomes business and investment. We will work to strengthen BC’s role as a domestic trading partner within Canada. A CentreBC government will support our province’s legacy sectors such forestry, mining, agriculture while exploring new opportunities to embrace the technology sector, cultural sectors, and the green economy.
Making housing more affordable
CentreBC believes that housing must be attainable for all British Columbians. We will make it easier for municipalities to approve new housing units by investing in housing-enabling infrastructure like sewers and transportation. A CentreBC government will work to remove barriers to housing construction across the board.
Improving access to health care
CentreBC believes in an accessible and properly funded public healthcare system. We believe that focus must be on measures that increase access to primary care and lower wait times. A CentreBC government will support expanded access to in-demand specialists and work to increase both physician and nursing numbers across the province.
Addressing the climate crisis
CentreBC recognizes the real and significant threat posed by climate change. We will focus on implementing solutions that are evidence-based and provide opportunities for economic growth. A CentreBC government will support critical minerals mining, expansion of clean energy, and investment in resiliency infrastructure.
Tackling BC’s infrastructure and transportation deficit
CentreBC believes in taking a long-term approach to infrastructure investment. We will work with municipalities, regional districts, and the federal government to secure ongoing, long-term funding agreements for new infrastructure projects. A CentreBC government will support the expansion of rapid transit lines and will improve ongoing maintenance of BC’s highways and roads.
Addressing homelessness, mental health, and public safety
CentreBC believes in a multifaceted approach towards addressing concerns around homelessness, mental health, addictions, and public safety. We will work to improve access to community-based mental health services and recovery programs, while increasing the supply of affordable housing. A CentreBC government will ensure law enforcement and courts are adequately funded while implementing systems needed for proper support and treatment.
Advancing Indigenous Reconciliation
CentreBC believes in the shared opportunity that comes from a deeper, more meaningful form of reconciliation with Indigenous Nations. We will work to expand respectful relationships, ensuring proper cross-cultural education. A CentreBC government will continue support for Indigenous economic and cultural development and measures that facilitate private sector collaboration with Indigenous Nations and Indigenous-owned businesses.
Helping small businesses
CentreBC believes that small businesses are the backbone of our economy. We will work to streamline approvals, cut red tape, and explore ways to ease the provincial tax burden on small businesses. A CentreBC government will address BC’s ongoing labour shortage through improved housing affordability and increased access to daycare, allowing both business owners and their workers a greater level of flexibility.
Delivering resources for families and seniors
CentreBC believes that government has a responsibility to ensure a better future for British Columbians of all generations. We will work to expand access to quality, affordable childcare across British Columbia while increasing both accessibility and affordability for seniors housing. A CentreBC government will work with providers to ensure a consistent high standard of services across the province.
